Sharing some information from Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW).
There is a project that will take place at the elevated storage tank property that is within and adjacent to the Crooked Tree neighborhood. The goal of the project is to establish a water quality monitoring station, within the footprint of the tank, that will transmit real-time data to the operators and water quality professional who remotely monitor our system conditions.
Most of the work will take place near/within the fence that surrounds the tank. However, it will be necessary to dig a trench from the tank to the road in order to install a sanitary sewer pipe that will take water discharged from the monitors to the sanitary sewer. As part of the construction of the subdivision, GCWW requested a sewer stub be installed at this location to avoid cutting into the sidewalk and/or road. As long as that was done properly, they believe the impact to the residents will be minimal. The residents on Beech View Dr. will see construction related traffic, and those who use the walking path will be periodically detoured during the trench installation. They will require the contractor to perform the work as safely as possible, with signs, notifications, and temporary walking paths, when necessary. They will also restore the area, as well as they can, to the condition it is currently.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kyle Buckley (Kyle.Buckley@gcww.cincinnati-oh.gov, 513.591.7874).

The City of Mason inspected Broken Ridge and Conifer after it rained on Wednesday and found that there are a couple of depressions in the roadway that could be repaired at this time. These depressions will be added to this year’s street repair list. It may be later in the season before they repaired. They will also reapply mastic to the transverse joints in the road. There is a curb that is holding water. Curb repairs usually take place when the street is resurfaced. The City Engineer will check with this year’s concrete contractor’s availability to make the curb repairs at these locations.
If you have an issue with a streetlight near your house, please contact Duke Energy at the following URL. They will repair the light and send you an update to confirm it’s fixed.
